Svchost.Exe Error

If you have ever turned on your computer and when you reached the user login page, you may have seen the svchost.exe error message come up. It is an application error with faults and can be a corrupted updater.

This error can even come up when the computer is on safe mode. If you see it, there are only two options it allows you to do. One is to click on OK and that will terminate the program. The other is to hit cancel, which will make the program debug. If this is a reoccurring problem for you, there are ways to fix it.

The first thing you will need to do is verify the current update settings for the service. To do this, first click onto the start button. Then select the run option. After, type into the run option bar "services.msc." After this is done, look for any automatic update options that may appear. If it appears, click on it twice quickly. After, hit the log on option. Keep in mind the local system account has to be selected. If it asks to allow the service to interact with your desktop, decline it by taking the check mark off if it is selected. Find the hardware profile which is also located on the log on section. Check to make sure that it is on the enable setting.

After that, locate the general tab where the startup type is and select the automatic option. Locate the service status, which can be found on the general tab, and the service should start. To make it enabled, hit the start button. Repeat these steps if any other problems occur,

The next thing to do is to register the updater again. You can do this by hitting start, then run, and then type in "CMD" into it and then hit OK. Then a window will appear asking for a command. Depending on your computer, the command code will be different, so research it and then type it in.

You must get rid of corrupt updater files also. To do that, you must go to the command prompt and type in codes which depend on the computer type you own. After doing this, restart the updater and type in another code and then exit it. Last, all you must do is reboot the system by restarting the computer.
