Common Pc Registry Scams
1. No Support
A very common complaint with any kind of software is with companies who sell the product, take your money, and then don't offer any decent support. Registry software is has the same problem. There are some shocking companies who dont give you support even though thier website claims how fantastic the support is!

2. High Priced
As mentioned elsewhere on this site, some registry tools cost around $40 and don't have half the features that tools costing $20 do. Price is no indication of quality with registry software. But be aware, rather pay more for a good registry Software tool with excellent support and updates than save a small amount right now - It will cost more in the long term.
3. TOO Many Errors!
There are Registry tools available that hardly find any errors. These tools are more than likely of a very poor quality. If you've had your computer for a while, and a repair tool is only showing 100 - 200 errors in the registry that need repairing, its not a good enough solution.
4. No Updates to the Software
All good software tools should be updated regularly to iron out bugs, make improvements and to keep up-to-date with any changes in your computer's operating environment. Another huge complaint we came across through our testing and research was people who had bought a product that hadn't recieved updateds for OVER A YEAR. Stay Away!
5. Cant Get Your Money Back
Lots of people have bought registry repair software, decided it wasn't for them, or found it didn't work as expected, and found that they couldn't get a refund for it. Unfortuantely this happens often.*Top Tip*: When you're buying software on the Internet, always check out a site's Refund Policy before you hit that 'pay' button.
